Job summary

Rullion Managed Services at Hinkley Point C, Somerset, are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor for nights on a major construction project. You will provide practical HSE advice, assure compliance and lead reporting to support zero-harm objectives.

You will develop risk-based inspection plans, perform audits, investigations and training, and promote behavioural safety while coordinating with designers, principal contractors and EDF Energy's teams.

Qualifications

• Significant HSE experience within a large project setting.
• Experience coordinating between contractors on health and safety interfaces.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and safety reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support development and improvement of site health and safety standards.
• Advise project teams on HSE requirements across planning and construction.
• Develop risk profiles to guide inspections and audits.
• Ensure CDM duties are met by designers and principal contractors.
• Support reviews for constructability and operability as HSE SME.
• Conduct inspections, audits, investigations, and reporting.
• Identify HSE trends and recommend actions for reports.
• Provide guidance on HSE management system and training.
• Promote behavioural safety with contractors.
• Support proactive programs reinforcing zero tolerance for HSE issues.
• Collaborate to ensure HSE policies are joined up.
