Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 qualification for maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles.
• At least five years’ experience repairing and maintaining public service or heavy goods vehicles.
• Current IRTEC in service maintenance technician, inspection technician and advanced technician qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain buses.
• Investigate and diagnose mechanical and electronic faults.
• Record faults and repairs using a tablet.
• Follow safety instructions and report any issues.

Skills

NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 qualification

At least five years’ experience in repairs

Current IRTEC qualifications

PCV licence

Good standard of Maths and English

Experience with fleet management systems

Strong teamwork skills
