Qualifications
NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 qualification for maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles.
At least five years’ experience repairing and maintaining public service or heavy goods vehicles.
Current IRTEC in service maintenance technician, inspection technician and advanced technician qualification preferred.
Responsibilities
Inspect, repair and maintain buses.
Investigate and diagnose mechanical and electronic faults.
Record faults and repairs using a tablet.
Follow safety instructions and report any issues.
Skills
NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 qualification
At least five years’ experience in repairs
Current IRTEC qualifications
PCV licence
Good standard of Maths and English
Experience with fleet management systems
Strong teamwork skills
