Pertemps Manchester is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for an immediate start in Middleton, Manchester. The role involves nationwide store deliveries and 7.5-tonne driving duties with potential extension beyond the initial 2-3 months.

You will work a 4 on, 3 off pattern with start times from 00:01 to 05:00 and attend a one-hour induction. Essential: HGV Class 2, CPC, tachograph, and delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence and Driver CPC.
• Valid digital tachograph card and prior delivery experience.
• Ability to undertake manual handling and maintain good timekeeping.

Responsabilités

• Deliver goods to retail stores nationwide on time and safely.
• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles and perform 7.5-tonne duties as required.
• Possibly operate a Luton van or 10-tonne vehicle as needed.
• Handball boxes at store locations and complete delivery paperwork.
• Crew-based double-manned deliveries initially, then independent.
