Job summary

Proman is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a night-based role in the Leicester area. Starts between 18:00 and 19:00, Monday to Friday. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with a reputable employer.

Role involves safe deliveries, vehicle checks, paperwork, and maintaining customer service standards. Requires HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card, and right to work in the UK. Minimum 2 years of experience and sound knowledge of UK transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK.
• Good understanding of UK road transport regulations.
• Strong communication skills and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safe and timely delivery and collection of goods.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure compliance with all driving legislation, including Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards when interacting with clients.
