Job summary

Proman is hiring an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for night shifts in Leicestershire (Whetstone, LE8). Starts between 18:00–19:00, Monday to Friday, offering stable, long-term employment with a reputable company. Must have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card with at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities include safe deliveries, daily vehicle checks, paperwork accuracy, and maintaining strong customer service. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Requires valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and 2 years’ experience.
• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card required.
• Right to work in the UK and knowledge of UK road transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safe and timely delivery and collection of goods.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with driving hours and Working Time Directive.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Maintain excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
