Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for night-time pallet distribution in Leicester. You will operate a Class 1 vehicle, complete vehicle checks and deliver pallets safely while adhering to schedules.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and digital tachograph card, ADR Packaged certification, and prior night-shift driving experience. Pay is £23 per hour, with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence.

• ADR Packaged certification.
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Knowledge of UK roads and road safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle during night shifts
• Complete vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Carry out pallet deliveries and collections in line with agreed schedules
• Secure loads correctly and handle goods with care
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
• Follow road safety, transport and hazardous goods procedures
