Job summary

Pertemps Leicester Industrial is recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for ongoing temporary roles based in Leicester. Work is Monday to Friday with early start times (1:00am–6:00am) and finishes typically between 1:00pm–4:00pm.

Duties include delivering to retail stores with 1–3 drops daily, with occasional nights away. The role requires a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and proven driving experience, along with reliability and safe driving.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• A professional and reliable approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexible start times and routes.
• Ability to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to retail stores with routes typically 1–3 drops per day.
• Start times between 1:00am and 6:00am; finishes between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
• Occasional nights away may be required.
• Support busy transport operation during peak periods.
