Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to support operations at the Dunelm site in Stoke-on-Trent ST4 4FA, delivering goods safely and on time. A typical day involves driving within regulations, performing vehicle checks and making 1–3 store deliveries to the rear using a tail lift and pump truck.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E) with Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience.
• Double Deck experience is desirable.
• Confident maneuvering in a tight yard and familiarity with modern vehicle models.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards and road regulations.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks.
• Deliver 1-3 store deliveries to rear of the store using a tail lift and pump truck with some manual handling.
