Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver in Leicester to join our team at Dunelm. This permanent role offers varied shift patterns, including night starts, with pay that includes base and shift premiums.

You will deliver to stores, operate tail lifts, and ensure safety and compliance for timely, safe deliveries. Applicants should hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and a tachograph card, with 12 months driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Ideally 12 months recent driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe, efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and Highway Code at all times.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks and basic maintenance checks.
• Deliver 1–3 store deliveries to the rear of the store using a tail lift and electric pump truck.
