Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Swindon is hiring a Supermarket Assistant to deliver Partner-led service and a passion for food that keeps customers returning. You will support stock, online orders, and checkout teams, with varied shifts including nights where a premium applies.

This role requires strong communication and a flexible approach to cover across seven days, including early starts and weekends, and is based at Swindon, SN1 7BX.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable effective teamwork and customer service.
• Experience in a customer-facing role is welcomed.
• Flexibility to support the whole branch as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and correctly placed.
• Fulfilling online orders for driver delivery.
• Reducing wastage by following product due-diligence and sell-by dates.
• Collaborating with the shop team to support checkout and Click & Collect.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
