Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Daventry is seeking a Supermarket Assistant for night shifts to provide customer-focused service and ensure shelves are well-stocked. You will support online orders and store operations, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

The role requires 18+ and offers a night premium on hours between 22:00 and 06:00. Flexible part-time contracts and weekend coverage are available.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.
• Experience in a customer-facing role is welcomed.
• Up-to-date knowledge and interest in food and drink trends.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and correctly placed.
• Fulfilling online orders for delivery to customers' doors.
• Reducing wastage by following due diligence and sell-by-date markdowns.
• Supporting overall shop operations including checkout and Click & Collect.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy working environment.
