Job summary

Greencore Northampton is seeking a dedicated team member for the Nut Pod area to prepare ingredients to the highest quality, safety and production standards. You will ensure allergen segregation and supply lines with the correct materials, scanned accurately and delivered on time.

The role requires carrying out pre-start checks, managing stock, and maintaining storages while upholding strict quality and food safety checks.

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good understanding of food hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure both independently and in a team.
• Full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients in the Nut Pod area to high quality and safety standards.
• Follow allergen segregation procedures at all times.
• Supply production lines with materials, scanning accurately and on time.
• Carry out pre-start checks and document them accurately.
• Manage stock, including near-expiry items, concessions and waste.
• Maintain chilled storage and prep zones to required standards.
• Perform quality and food safety checks and escalate issues to Line Coordinator.
• Role involves working with nuts; may not suit those with nut allergies.
