Greencore, located at Carlyon Road Industrial Estate in Atherstone, is seeking a full-time role with a 4 on 3 off (and 4 on 2 off) shift pattern from 6:30pm to 5am. The position offers a hourly rate of £16.56 and is based at Greencore’s Atherstone site.

The role requires numeracy and literacy, experience operating FMCG machinery, and strong Health & Safety knowledge. You will perform daily machine start-ups, faults reporting, labeling checks, and quality controls within a collaborative

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills (verbal & written).
• Experience operating machinery in FMCG.
• Food manufacturing experience.
• Solid understanding of health & safety at work.

Responsibilities

• Daily machinery start-up and continuous oversight.
• Report machinery faults as necessary.
• Ensure correct label usage to maintain high standards.
• Complete compliance checks, including date/code verification.
• Adhere to compliance controls, risk assessments and SSOW.
• Ensure a safe working environment for colleagues and self.
• Perform quality checks and address quality or food safety issues.
• Collaborate within a close-knit production team.
