Job summary

Menzies Distribution Limited is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Kettering to operate a counterbalance FLT and manage pallet receipt, scanning and stock rotation. The role follows a 4 On/4 Off night pattern, 18:00–06:00, with duties across loading, WMS usage and strict H&S adherence.

The successful candidate will work closely with the customer and team to maintain high standards, participate in training, and support ongoing operations at a busy site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a counterbalance FLT (PPT is acceptable).
• Previous warehouse experience preferred (food/beverage not essential).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Proactive with good initiative.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance FLT to load/unload trailers.
• Use WMS, laptop and hand scanners for stock input.
• Receive pallets and scan into the warehouse system.
• Rotate stock and consolidate as needed.
• Ensure health and safety rules are followed at all times.
• Assist on loading bay when required.
