Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting for an FLT Operative at Beckton (E6 6LF) to operate Reach or Counterbalance forklifts. The role includes loading/unloading, stock movement, and supporting warehouse operations across rotating shifts. Pay starts at £13.85/hour, rising to £16.21/hour after 13 weeks, with temp ongoing contract.

Qualifications

• Valid external FLT licence (not in-house) is required.
• Experience with Reach Lift Truck or Counterbalance Lift Truck.
• Recognised RTITB FLT qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous FLT experience is essential.
• 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Move stock around the warehouse.
• Complete picking and put-away tasks.
• Carry out daily vehicle and safety checks.
• Use warehouse systems including scanners and EWM.
• Follow Health & Safety and site procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow 5S principles.
• Work with Production and Warehouse teams.
• Support continuous improvement activities across site.
