Job summary

Mundipharma is seeking a Filling & Packaging Expansion Transition Operator for the Cambridge site on the night shift. This fixed-term, 24-month role supports legacy packaging lines during the expansion training workstream, ensuring continuous product supply and regulatory compliance.

You will operate, set up and changeover legacy lines, document batches accurately and work with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain colleagues to uphold GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Packaging machinery certification obtained through OEM in-house training.
• GMP principles and documentation practices are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start-up, operation and changeover of legacy filling & packaging lines according to SOPs.
• Complete batch documentation accurately and on time to support schedules and compliance.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify abnormalities and escalate issues to minimise downtime.
• Package pharmaceuticals in accordance with instructions, specs and GMP requirements.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Maintain housekeeping and participate in 5S, GEMBA, and continuous improvement activities.
• Support shift handovers and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain).
• Complete line cleaning, batch clearance, reconciliation and related compliance tasks.
