Job summary

Linde AMT UK Limited is seeking a Maintenance Technician (nights) in Swindon. The role focuses on electro-mechanical repair, routine and unplanned maintenance, and fault finding across coating and grinding machinery.

You will support production with setups and training, with opportunities to reprogram robots as required. The ideal candidate holds a BTEC/C&G in electrical or mechanical engineering, has PLC/control system experience, and a hands-on, proactive mindset geared toward continuous

Qualifications

• Proficient in electro-mechanical repair and installation with relevant qualification.
• Experience with control systems, PLCs, and process equipment in manufacturing.
• Hands-on, technically capable with a proactive approach to improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general and planned maintenance on plant equipment.
• Provide skilled support for facilities maintenance and machinery repair.
• Fault find on electrical systems across coating, grinding, and ventilation areas.
• Assist production with machinery problems and setups; train where appropriate.
• Program and maintain computerized measuring gauges and reprogram robots as needed.
