Job summary

Wienerberger Ltd in the UK is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Broomfleet site in Gilberdyke. You will be part of our hands-on in-house team keeping the plant running through proactive maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

The role covers electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, PLC programming, breakdown attendance, and adherence to safe systems of work. A minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Electrical biased engineer with manufacturing or factory experience.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe working practices.
• Flexible and hands-on with ability to adapt to daily priorities.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment.
• Operate a preventive electrical maintenance system.
• Fault finding and repairs on equipment.
• Program Siemens and other PLCs.
• Use testing equipment to locate and remedy faults.
• Attend breakdowns and restore production quickly.
• Contribute to safe systems of work documentation (SSOW).
• Adhere to quality standards including BSEN ISO 9001.
