B&M Retail Limited is seeking 2 Distribution Security Officers for our Distribution Centre in Runcorn. We offer night shifts (Thursday to Saturday) from 18:30 to 06:30, totalling 36 hours per week, with a range of employee benefits and development opportunities.

The role focuses on access control, patrols, incident reporting, and rapid response within a team. Prior security experience, good communication, and knowledge of Excel are desirable; an SIA licence is not essential but preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within security or retail environments.
• Strong written communication abilities and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of Data Protection laws and Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Control all access of the site
• Booking vehicles in and out of the site
• Incident report writing
• Vehicle and colleague searches
• Quick response where security intervention is needed
• Internal and External patrols completed throughout shifts
• Daily and Weekly audits completed
• Willingness to engage in physical activity as required by the job
