Job summary

B&M Retail Limited is seeking a Distribution Security Officer for our Speke-based Distribution Centre. The role covers access control, vehicle bookings, incident reporting and both interior and exterior patrols across night shifts.

The ideal candidate will be vigilant, assertive and a team player with strong communication skills, Excel knowledge, and an understanding of data protection and health & safety regulations. SIA licence is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar security role with strong written communication.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of Data Protection laws and Health & Safety regulations.
• Experience in conflict management and incident reporting.
• SIA Licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Control all access of the site
• Booking vehicles in and out of the site
• Incident report writing
• Vehicle and colleague searches
• Quick response where security intervention is needed
• Internal and External patrols completed throughout shifts
• Daily and Weekly audits completed
• Willingness to engage in physical activity as required by the job
