Job summary

Stagecoach Group Limited is looking for a hands-on Shunter Fueller at its Saint Helens depot. The role involves fueling and oiling fleets, shunting vehicles, cleaning interiors/exteriors, and maintaining depot hygiene to support a modern, low-emission fleet.

You will log usage, perform daily checks, and assist with vehicle changes and deliveries, working a 37.5-hour week with a 5-of-7 shift pattern, 6pm–2am. Training and career progression are provided.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence required.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to keeping things clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Fueling and oiling our fleet of buses and coaches.
• Driving (shunting) vehicles safely around the depot and parking them correctly.
• Cleaning the interior and exterior of our vehicles, including deep cleans and under-chassis washes using approved equipment.
• Keeping our premises tidy and hygienic, including washrooms.
• Carrying out vehicle changeovers, breakdown support, and collecting/delivering vehicles or parts when needed.
• Logging fuel and oil usage and completing daily checks on equipment.
• Supporting your team and contributing to a safe, efficient depot operation.
