Job summary

Johnstons of Elgin in Scotland is seeking a Darner to join our luxury textile team. You will perform table, perch, and hand darning on high-quality products, applying careful fault correction and precise hand sewing techniques to ensure a superior finish.

Full training will be provided; candidates should have keen attention to detail, good colour vision, and the ability to follow written instructions. The role offers 34 hours per week on a night-shift pattern with a starting rate of £13.45 per

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct faults with keen attention to detail to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Use hand sewing techniques and problem-solve to rectify faults from inspection.
• Work as part of the stitching team with full training provided.
