Job summary

Sizewell C is seeking an exceptional Construction Manager to lead the safe delivery of major civil works on the Sizewell C project in Leiston. You will oversee night-shift operations, coordinating Tier 1 contractors and ensuring leadership across safety, quality, cost and programme.

The role requires a degree in engineering or construction management, chartered status, and proven experience on large infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Ideally proven experience delivering major construction or infrastructure projects.
Background in civil engineering, structures, concrete, drainage, highways, or groundworks.
Experience managing Tier 1 contractors and project teams.
Strong knowledge of NEC and/or FIDIC contracts.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Working knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction methodologies.
Track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

Lead the safe and successful delivery of major construction works on Sizewell C.
Manage Tier 1 contractors and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Drive performance across safety, quality, cost, and programme objectives.
Ensure compliance with NEC/FIDIC contracts.
