Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Night Shift Setter to operate CNC punch/perforating presses in a well-established manufacturing business. You will join a small, close-knit production team and take ownership of setting processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to strengthen quality and production output in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Experience setting CNC machines.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and follow production documentation.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Reliable, with a stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC punch/perforating presses.
• Produce quality components while meeting production targets.
• Carry out in-process quality inspections per ISO procedures.
• Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and safety.
• Support continuous improvement activities within the production team.
• Deputise for the Shift Team Leader when required.
• Assist with training and development of team members.
• Collaborate to ensure production schedules are met.
• Follow Health & Safety and environmental procedures.
