Job summary

Williams F1 Team is seeking a Pattern Shop Machinist to join the Manufacturing team. You will set up and machine patterns, jigs and carbon components using advanced CNC centres, ensuring parts meet drawings and tight specifications.

You will work closely with colleagues across Manufacturing and Technical departments to hit demanding production deadlines. The role requires an apprenticeship or equivalent engineering experience, plus strong knowledge of materials and machining processes and the

Qualifications

Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent engineering experience.
Experience operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centres.
Strong understanding of engineering materials and machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high quality work.
Ability to work independently while contributing within a team.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centres to produce patterns and carbon components.

Perform self-inspection to ensure quality and accuracy.
Collaborate with manufacturing, inspection and technical teams to resolve machining challenges.
Maintain accurate work orders and production data; ensure smooth shift handovers.
