Job summary

Mount Charles Group requires a Cleaning Operative to join our team at various sites in Belfast. You will be responsible for cleaning to specified standards, including weekly and periodic tasks, and must hold a clean driving license for site access where required.

The role is a nighttime position with 37.5 hours per week, five days out of seven. We value reliability, safety, and the ability to work independently in a family‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have prior cleaning experience relevant to commercial environments.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills are required to understand safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas efficiently and to required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH guidelines.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting faults to the Line Manager.
• Keep cleaning stores tidy and ensure equipment is correctly stored and secured at all times.
