Job summary

Mount Charles Group based in Belfast is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join the Translink site. You will clean to required standards, use cleaning chemicals safely, and follow COSHH procedures during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is essential.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals is required.
• Good eye for detail and customer focus.
• Able to work independently with good time management.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills for safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas to required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as per COSHH guidelines.
• Know and use cleaning equipment after appropriate training.
• Report faulty equipment immediately and mark as faulty.
• Use safety signage and warn customers where possible.
• Keep cleaning stores tidy and store equipment safely.
• Dispose of sharps safely when necessary.
• Comply with client and Mount Charles security regulations.
