Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL Group in Reading is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to support our DHL Supply Chain operations. You will drive safely, perform routine vehicle checks, and handle customer goods while ensuring on-time deliveries.

The role operates on permanent night shifts (Mon–Fri, 23:00–08:00) in Reading. Applicants should hold a Class 2 license, Driver CPC, and a Tachograph card; nights experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C).
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience.
• Night shifts previously is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with drivers" hours and WTD regulations.
• Follow health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products.
