Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to support our delivery operations and ensure goods arrive safely and on time. You will be responsible for driving to routes, performing vehicle checks and handling cargo as required.

The role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern, starting from midnight to 07:00. A valid HGV Class 2 Licence (C), Driver CPC and Tachograph Card are essential, with 12 months driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence (C), Driver CPC and Tachograph Card required.
• 12 months driving experience preferred; new passes considered.
• Must be physically fit and flexible to work with shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with regulations and directives.
• Complete vehicle checks and basic maintenance as required.
• Manual handling of goods and operation of tail lift where applicable.
• Occasional night out may be required; approx. 4–8 drops per day.
