Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team. You will deliver goods safely, complete vehicle checks and work patterns like 4 on 4 off, with start times from midnight.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence (C), Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, with ideally 12 months experience; new passes considered. You will be part of a nationwide logistics leader, with benefits including pension, leave, and healthcare.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience although new passes will be considered.
• Are flexible and polite.
• Are physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards at all times, adhering to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products.
• Moving cages off vehicle via a tail lift.
• The occasional night out may be required.
• Around 4-8 drops a day.
