Aligra is seeking an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver for a stable night shift near Hinckley. The role runs Monday to Friday, 21:00–06:45, with overtime on Sundays depending on business needs. You will join a well-established logistics operation that values safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ months Class 1 experience required.
• Valid UK driving licence and Driver CPC.
• Experience using Driver Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Safely shunting Class 1 vehicles to support loading/unloading operations.
• Using your Driver Digital Tachograph Card at all times.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety standards and site rules.
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting issues promptly.
• Coordinating with supervisors to maintain smooth traffic flow.
• Supporting Sunday overtime shifts as required.
