Job summary

Lineage is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver at the Seaham depot. You will perform trunking and multi-drop deliveries, ensuring loads are secure, paperwork completed, and legal vehicle checks.

Shifts are 4 on 4 off with nights, offering a fixed hourly rate plus a weekly shift allowance and overtime after 39 hours. Requirements include a C+E licence, valid DigiTacho and CPC, previous Class 1 experience, ability to lift up to 18kg, and clear English communication.

Qualifications

• Requires C+E (Class 1) driving licence, DigiTacho and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English with the team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries while on duty.
• Ensure vehicle is legal, roadworthy, and daily checks are completed.
• Verify loads and obtain signatures before returning to depot.
• Comply with drivers’ hours regulations and safety practices.
