Swift Temps Ltd in Leicester (LE4) is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Linehaul Driver for regular, ongoing work. You will trunk between sites, with late afternoons and night shifts, and earn £18.25 per hour plus overtime and travel allowance.

The role requires a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, tachograph card and Driver CPC, with a professional approach and solid knowledge of hours and tachograph rules. Full-time position with steady hours and reliable work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience is a bonus.
• A reliable and professional approach to work.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.

Responsabilités

• Driving a Class 1 HGV on planned linehaul/trunking routes.
• Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Completing required delivery paperwork and electronic records.
• Complying with drivers' hours, working time and road safety regulations.
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
