Job summary

GXO Logistics is recruiting a Class 1 Driver for Knottingley, UK, on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves 48 hours per week across 9.6-hour shifts on the TJX contract, with shifts starting late evenings.

Salary £43,555.20 per year plus generous benefits including 28 days annual leave, pension, dental insurance, and access to GXO University. Ideal for candidates with driving qualifications and UK motorway experience.

Qualifications

• A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods between TJX sites, approx 3/4 drops per shift.
• Communicate with the transport office regarding delays or changes.
• Shunting experience would be advantageous to cover holiday leave.
• Adhere to driving, safety, and vehicle operation policies.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform other duties related to the role as required.
