Job summary

GXO Crewe is hiring Class 1 Drivers to support our TJX operations. You will be employed on a full-time, permanent contract, working 48 hours per week on an any 5 from 7 days shift pattern. Start times between 08:00-10:00, 10:00-12:00 or 12:00-14:00 to suit preferences.

Duties include trunking, store deliveries, and collections from third-party vendors, using hand-held scanners and following planned routes to reduce bridge strikes.

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence with category C/C+E entitlement.
Valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
No more than 6 current penalty points.
No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements in the last 5 years.
Induction programme including Site induction, Manual handling, SSOW training and RTITB training.
Buddy shifts during initial training and compliance support.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently transporting goods between TJX sites.
Completing collections from third-party locations.
Using hand-held scanners to complete tasks.
Following planned routes to reduce bridge strikes.
Ensuring compliance with driving laws and company policies.
Maintaining stock and seal integrity.
Carrying out pre- and post-vehicle checks.
Undertaking other duties as required.
