Job summary

Boughey Distribution Limited is seeking a Class 1 Driver Nights at Crewe on a full-time permanent basis. You will work a 5 on, 3 off night shift, performing vehicle checks and delivering goods across Cheshire while following driver hours regulations.

We offer weekly pay at £20 per hour, 29 days holiday, and progression opportunities within the group. Training funded, Medicash, shopping and travel discounts, plus pension and life assurance are included.

Qualifications

• A valid Category C&E driving license is essential.
• Current CPC and tachograph card.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Excellent communication skills for deliveries and on-site teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift per HGV rules to prevent vehicle damage.
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
• Manoeuvre trucks into loading/unloading positions and secure loads.
• Provide yard support with handball or pump truck deliveries as required.
