Job summary

Hotel Chocolat is seeking a Production Technician for our Huntingdon chocolate manufacturing site. You will manage production lines, ensure machine settings, perform changeovers, sample and deposit chocolate, and ensure production aligns with the plan and quality specifications.

Join a team delivering Velvetiser and other premium chocolates, with overnight shifts Sunday to Thursday 22:00–06:00, competitive salary, and staff benefits including substantial product discounts and pension

Qualifications

HACCP trained and aware of food safety standards.
Strong understanding of KPIs and performance metrics.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and tools.
Proactive, multi-tasking mindset in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Operate assets on the production lines in an efficient and effective manner per the production plan.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely arrival of materials and fill on line.
Maintain reports such as the first production run log and GMP documentation.
Execute changeovers with precision, ensuring minimal downtime and no equipment damage.
Support root cause analyses with the Engineering team and input Works Orders into the system.
Drive waste reduction and improve efficiency by minimizing over/under builds.
Handover assets to incoming shift with clear, complete information for a smooth transition.
