Job summary

Nellsar is seeking a Senior Care Assistant – Team Leader (Nights) at Lulworth House Residential Care Home in Maidstone. You’ll oversee the night shift, lead the night team, and manage medications to ensure calm, safe, dignified care through the night.

With an emphasis on autonomy and leadership, you will be trusted to keep residents safe and well, coordinating with day staff and families as needed. Nights role with enhanced responsibilities.

Qualifications

• NVQ/ vocational Level 2 in Health & Social Care achieved.
• Willingness to progress to Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night team and be the senior on site when managers aren’t present.
• Take responsibility for medication administration and related procedures.
• Make calm, sound decisions and know when to escalate.
• Deliver clear handovers to day staff for seamless care.
• Keep records accurate (incidents, concerns, changes in need).
• Support the team to provide warm, person-centred care through the night.
