Job summary

Care Dorset Limited is recruiting a Senior Night Care Assistant - Team Leader for The Hayes. You will lead the night care team, ensure high standards of care, and drive person-centered plans to support residents.

The role requires a self-motivated, knowledgeable senior carer with experience in care planning, risk assessment, and medication administration. NVQ/L3 in Health & Social Care is required, with training and development opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ / Health and Social Care Level 3 qualification required.
• Experience leading a care team and supervising night shifts is essential.
• Strong skills in care planning, risk assessments, and person-centred approaches.

Responsibilities

• Undertake effective assessments and develop tailored care plans.
• Assist with safe administration of medication and monitor health needs.
• Lead and guide team members, conduct 1-1s and performance reviews.
• Record care delivery accurately and communicate changes in condition.
• Support daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Promote a positive living environment and participate in meetings.
