Job summary

Birchstone Care Limited is seeking a compassionate Night Shift Care Assistant to join our warm, family‑focused team. You will help residents stay comfortable, safe and well supported during the night.

Key duties include personal care, mobility and transfers, medication prompts, nutrition and hydration, emotional reassurance, and maintaining care records while following health, safety and safeguarding procedures. No sponsorship; right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not offered.
• Care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise at night.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently.
• Reliable, trustworthy and committed to high standards of care.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training.
• Flexible to work night shifts, weekends and bank holidays as required.
• Own transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care during night shifts.
