Birchstone Care Limited in Colchester is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our day shift team. You will provide person-centred care, support with personal care, mobility, meals, and monitoring residents’ wellbeing in a warm, family-oriented home.

Qualifications

• Experience in care role is beneficial but not essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work as part of a team and independently.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to high standards of care.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training.
• Must have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and transfers.
• Support with medication administration as trained.
• Assist with nutrition and hydration and monitor intake.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
