Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Operative for night shift on behalf of a global client in Northampton (Brackmills Industrial Estate). The role is 36 hours per week, night shift 18:00-06:30, Monday to Wednesday, with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include cable assembly, cutting/crimping, labeling, quality checks, and packing. Candidates should have prior manufacturing experience, good English, and be able to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cable assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Good spoken English and effective communication within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables.
• Cut and crimp cable ends to meet client requirements.
• Label cables.
• Sort cables into client locations.
• Perform quality checks and testing.
• Prepare boxes and packaging.
• Pick small components required for manufacturing.
