Priory Millburn in Cambuslang near Glasgow is seeking a Senior Support Worker for waking nights. This full-time permanent role offers £13.95 per hour and involves night shifts from 20:00 to 08:00 across two units supporting residents with varied needs.

You’ll lead on the night, support staff, monitor safety, and maintain records while delivering person-centred care in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior or leadership capacity.
• Calm, reliable and able to respond effectively to changing situations.
• Strong communicator who can support and motivate colleagues.
• Passionate about providing person-centred care.
• Organised and able to manage responsibilities across multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting on waking night shifts between 20:00–08:00.
• Support two units and assist on shift with staff teams.
• Monitor the wider site to ensure staff work effectively and safely.
• Act as senior point of contact during the night.
• Provide guidance to colleagues and respond to issues that arise during the shift.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure procedures are followed.
