Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Night Senior Carer to lead a team of Care Assistants and work closely with the Deputy General Manager to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.

You will contribute to clinical tasks such as medication administration, assessments, and care planning, while maintaining a warm, dignified environment for residents and supporting their individual needs.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is essential.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving residents individualised care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Uphold dignity and personal preferences of residents and foster a warm, welcoming environment.
