Job summary

Agincare is hosting a Dorset Careers Open Day to showcase what a career in care looks like at the Dorchester Corn Exchange. The event offers the chance to interview on the day, meet the team, and learn about the role of a Night Senior Care Assistant.

The position is a 36-hour night contract with alternate weekends, paying £13.46 per hour, plus benefits such as pension, training up to QCF Level 5, and access to on-demand pay. You must have at least 12 months right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Level 2 Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 3).
• Night 36 hour night contract, including alternate weekends.
• A caring, confident team player with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead high-quality, person-centred care.
• Support residents with personal care, dignity, and independence.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Contribute to and review care plans.
• Lead activities, outings, and meaningful engagement.
• Support and guide team members, stepping up when needed.
