Senior Care Assistant

We ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, attending to their Physical, Psychological, and Social needs. Your responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals. You will also be responsible for medication rounds and leading the shift.

We welcome applications from those who have previously worked as a Senior Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker, or Community Support Worker. Full training is provided, and we also encourage applicants without senior experience but with a passion for care and a valid qualification.

About You

We are looking for kind and caring individuals eager to make a positive impact. You will also need:

• Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a care certificate (training provided, so these are desirable but not essential).
• Experience in a Care Home environment (desirable but not essential).
• Experience in team leadership.
• A committed, organized approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts.

Additional Duties

• Attend staff meetings.
• Maintain personal and professional development through training and support staff development.
• Understand safeguarding responsibilities, reduce abuse and neglect risks, and adhere to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies.
• Provide evidence of completed training.
• Follow fire safety and health and safety legislation.
• Complete all required training.
