Care Concern Group's Boclair Care Home in Glasgow is seeking a motivated Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.

This role offers £14.50 per hour for a 44-hour week, PVG paid, pension, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave. You will supervise shifts, oversee medications, and maintain clear records, while communicating with families and health professionals.

Formación

• SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is required.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards is desirable.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.

This luxurious, private care facility is situated in the affluent suburb of Glasgow. The care home offers elegant accommodation for up to 80-residents along with outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care.

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• £14.50 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

We Are Looking For

• SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach
