Job summary

Care Concern Group’s Boclair Care Home in Glasgow is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide person-centred care for residents. You will support daily living activities, helping residents feel comfortable, respected and valued, and work within a friendly team that values training and development.

Role includes following care plans, recognizing changes in condition, and contributing to safe and responsive care, with full training and ongoing support offered to new and existing staff.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility and nutrition.

• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to deliver consistent care.

Job description

This luxurious, private care facility is situated in the affluent suburb of Glasgow. The care home offers elegant accommodation for up to 80-residents along with outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to up to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
