Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting for a night-time security role on site at a major resort. You will patrol, check bags, conduct searches and assist with incident and crowd management, working 23:00–07:00 on a 4-on, 4-off pattern.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and collaboration with local authorities, offering a fast-paced environment on an island location and opportunities to develop a career in security

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills to communicate in an effective and positive manner with all customers and colleagues
• In-date SIA license (Door supervisor and CCTV level)
• Valid driving licence
• High level of motivation for self and team
• Proficient in English language
• Team player with ability to work independently
• Lead and uphold standards during conflict or violence
• Strong interpersonal and network-building skills within the resort
• Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with guests
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service to our guests, in line with company values ensuring targets are met
• Practice Conflict Management across the Resort, ensuring safety of guests, staff and assets
• Carry out bag checks, personal searches, patrols and stay vigilant at all times
• Interact with guests and resolve issues to the best of your ability
• Patrol the Resort, remaining vigilant for any threats to safety
