Job summary

The Falmouth Hotel is seeking a calm, confident Night Manager to oversee hotel operations during the night and lead the night team. You will welcome late-arriving guests, run overnight checks and ensure guest safety.

Responsibilities include night audits, handovers, and reporting issues while maintaining high service standards and readiness for the morning team. Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or hospitality preferred.
• Reliable and professional demeanor.
• Able to work night shifts.
• Excellent guest communication.

We are looking for a calm, confident and dependable Night Manager to join the team at The Falmouth.

Please note the shift pattern is 4 on 4 off.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth running of the hotel throughout the night.

• Deal calmly and appropriately with any incidents or emergencies.
• Complete night audit, records and handovers accurately.
• Identify and report maintenance, security and health & safety issues.
• Ensure the hotel is clean, presentable and ready for the morning team.
• Follow all company procedures, including fire and security procedures.

Requirements

• Previous hotel, hospitality or customer service experience is desirable.
• Calm, confident and professional manner.
• Reliable and comfortable working independently.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident dealing with unexpected situations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and bank holidays where required.
